11/22/63 the Movie

I just took Brutus for a nice long walk down to Queen Street in Hespeler where they are shooting the movie 11/22/63 based on the Stephen King book.   Our little neighborhood has been transformed into small town America in 1963.   It’s looking great.  The old cars are especially cool.
 


James Franco is starring in it so it would be great to see him but honestly,  I’m looking for Stephen King.  He always does a cameo in his movies.  I’m hoping it is here.  I would love to see him.
Poor Brutus doesn’t appreciate my enthusiasm.   He enjoyed the walk but not all the hustle and bustle of the show business crowds.  Downtown Hespeler was too crowded for him today.  It’s rare to say downtown Hespeler is crowded.

Why Don't Cats Play Poker in the Jungle?

Because there are too many cheetahs.



Being the responsible parent that I am,  I was teaching my kids how to play poker yesterday on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Poker with cats around is difficult.   They climbed on the table,  swatted at the cards and attempted to tip the poker pot.  Kids,  cats, and poker are a bad combination if you are being too serious but we had a lot of fun with it. 

None of us are ready to go tour the poker circuit.   Well, maybe the cats are.  They have some cool poker faces.
